Eshu

Eshu is a powerful Orisha in the Yoruba religion, known as the opener of the ways. He is often associated with the number three, which represents the three states of existence: past, present, and future. His colors are red and black, symbolizing the duality of life and death. Eshu is a complex and fascinating figure, revered by many for his ability to guide and protect those who honor him.

My Story

Eshu is a prominent figure in the Yoruba religion, known as the god crossroads and beginnings. According to legend, he is a mischief deity who enjoys playing tricks on humans. One popular story tells of how Eshu tricked the other gods into giving him the power to control the destiny of all humans. Another story recounts how he helped a poor man become wealthy by giving him a magical seed that grew into a bountiful harvest.
